Work Experience
Digital Communications Consultant
I was tasked with redesigning the organization’s website, with a particular emphasis on optimizing its mobile version. I designed new pages and a user-friendly menu to effectively showcase the organization's programs and their corresponding projects. I have also integrated Google analytics, which provides valuable insights into web traffic, greatly enhancing and informing the content creation process. Currently, I am responsible for making updates and routine maintenance.
Communications and Advocacy Officer
Deployed an integrated communications strategy to ensure nationwide project visibility, encompassing writing success stories, website design and management, social media strategy development and execution, event planning and management, and compliance with brand guidelines, while also focusing on project documentation, content creation, photography, videography, graphic designing, and overall social media management.
Marketing and Communications Intern
I had the privilege of supporting various entities, including FDH Bank Plc, FDH Money Bureau, and FDH Discount House. In this capacity, I was entrusted with planning and executing a wide range of high-profile events, such as cocktails, business breakfasts, promotional draws, handovers, the FDH Mentor a Child Program, FDH Bank Cup games, Mayor's Trophy, Malawi Flames games, and Malawi Queens games.
My responsibilities included coordinating and supervising experiential marketing campaigns nationwide, event planning and execution, and supporting the launch and management of new and existing products and services. I also played a key role in implementing business development plans and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for product launches, as well as supporting brand and sales promotion activities across all subsidiaries and business units. Additionally, I was involved in branding, photography, and competitor analysis to enhance organizational visibility and market positioning.
